Get To Know Madelyn

Why do you teach yoga?

  • I teach because I believe our bodies hold medicine that often gets concealed by pain, trauma, and the pressure to push through. Yoga became my gateway back to myself, and I want to create spaces where others can experience that same homecoming—where healing happens through compassionate curiosity.

How long have you been practicing yoga?

  • 10 years

What can I expect in your class?

  • Students can expect a predictable container with space for their unique experience. My teaching style is yin-yang. I offer different themes or sequences that will weave somatic embodiment, accessible yang movement, restorative yin holds, meditation, and pranayama. I offer options for all bodies, honor individual pacing, and create a judgment-free space where you can listen to what your body needs in the moment.

What kind of music do you love to share in class?

  • I curate playlists with feminine, soulful vibes—it's music for sacred movement and self-love rituals. The vibe is grounding yet magnetic, helping you soften into your body while remembering your own power.

What’s your favorite Asana(pose)?

  • Puppy pose - the delicious heart-melting pose

Do you have a favorite quote from a yoga teacher you want to share?

  • “Allow yourself to be seen—dancing, and falling, and failing, and trying again… you are loved, and all that you have to offer is deeply needed.” -Katrina Kenison
